Great writing this is not, but it is good enough. Every book in this series is action packed and the characters carry over book to book so you actually do eventually end up with well developed characters (from about the 6th book on). I really enjoy this series for those days when I want an Indiana Jones style race against time with giant guns type story. There is one main protagonist organization (Sigma) and one antagonist (the Guild) which makes this easier to follow than some of the other options out there in this genre. I recommend it to anyone who wants to read a book that is very much an action flick.
