Warriors of the Rainbow - A. D. Harvey

this was a really fucked up story.

review:
I think I liked this book... maybe... I am not really sure. It was a short read and the imagery was well done and very strong. It was a really weird book, it left me shaking my head in confusion. The writing was great but the story was so disjointed. I recommend this is you miss that WTF feeling you got from reading Geek Love.

There are 3 possible ratings

The first is overall as in overall how good I think the book is

1-2 DO NOT READ,

3-4 Maybe read if you are in a cabin stuck for days and there is absolutely nothing else to read,

5-6 if you like the genre go for it,

7-8 if you think you might like the genre but aren't really sure go for it,

9-10 even if you hate the genre read this book

The second (which will be pink/purple) is the "smut rating", for trashy romance which rates totally on ease of read, story, sex and happy endings

The third (which will be in green because I like green) is "for the younger reader" as in would a young teen get a kick out of this and put down the XBox controller long enough to finish the book (that being 10/10)

Also I will categorize these books -

Elementary School (no sex/violence easy to read in grade 4 but subject appropriate for younger kids too),

Middle School (no sex, some violence but not nightmare inducing and easy to read at grade 6-9) and

High School (good enough for an adult but with teenage characters may include sex / violence OR coming of age stories OR a book I just think should be read before adulthood).
